Site Update

Dungeon guides, a new Build Planner and fixes across the site

  • Dungeon guides: 11 strategy guides, each with the dungeon's versions, entry rules, bosses and rewards from the game client: Krao Cave, Draupnir, Urugugu Canyon, Vakron Sky Island, Ferocious Horn Den, Fire Temple, Deus Research Base, Shattered Arkanis, Sanctum of Loathing, Nightmare Altar and Abyssal Forge: Ludra. The guides for Beritra Brigade Fortress, Orcus's Grave, Fafnite Forge, Depository of Fates, Forgotten Repository, Chamber of the Dead and Tyrant's Hideout come out when those dungeons open. All the published guides are on the guides hub.
  • Build Planner, rebuilt: gear, skills, Daevanion and the leveling order on one screen, with live stats that trace back to the game data, and the whole build in one link.
  • Skins, wings and pets: skins, sets and wings can be tried on a character; each page says how to get the cosmetic; one page per wing design; pets have their own section.
  • Character Creator: hair and cloth move with the game's own physics, and you can play the client's animations.
  • A review of every page type: content EU/NA cannot play yet (zones above the level cap, closed dungeons) is flagged "Later" and left out of counts and timers; drop chances are shown per roll; developer and hidden records left the lists; game terms are the client's own in every language.
Site Update

Build guides, a new map hub and level-45 guides

Site Update

Website tooltips, game data tables and "Newly added"

  • Website Tooltips: one script tag on your site or forum, and every link to an Aion2.gg item or skill shows a game-style hover card, in six languages.
  • Game Data Tables: six of the client's own tables in one hub: character levels, unlock requirements, Enhance success rates, Soul Binding costs, Genus Insight levels and Legion levels.
  • "Newly added": database lists can show only what the current client build added, and new entries carry a badge. Section tabs show their counts.
  • Map for collectors: the interactive map lists the nearest markers you have not found yet, shows your exploration progress per map, and has keyboard shortcuts for marking markers as found.
  • Item hover cards in the database now show category, item level, required level and sockets in your language.
Data Update

Retail launch client data, new planners and launch pages

The data comes from the retail client. On September 30, the day advanced access opened, the database, map, tools and guides moved from the September playtest client (Steam build 25375877) to the EU/NA retail launch client (Steam build 25624879). Both report game version 2.0.3.0, but the data changed: the level cap is 45 instead of 37, every reset moved to the same hour of the day, gear main stats are about 13% lower and 269 items left the client. What changed between the playtest and the retail client lists it all.

New tools:

  • Skill & Stigma Planner: spend skill points, pick Specialties and chain skills with the game's own costs and level gates, and share the plan as a link.
  • Empyrean Trace checklist: find every trace and tick off the areas you have cleared; your progress stays in your browser and syncs with the map.
  • My Collections: tick the pets you own and see what is missing and where to farm it.

Launch pages: the launch hub and its launch FAQ, the endgame PvE guide, Global vs Asia (16 community claims about EU/NA checked in the game files), the Twitch Drops page and the Daeva Pass Season 1 post.

Data Update

EU/NA client data 2.0.3.0 (playtest build)

Historical entry. Steam build 25375877 is the September playtest ("AION 2 Playtest"). On September 30 the site moved to the retail launch client (Steam build 25624879): see the entry of September 30.

The database, map, tools and guides are now built from the EU/NA client: game version 2.0.3.0 (Steam build 25375877 of the playtest, Unreal Engine 5.3.2), extracted on September 29, 2026, the day before advanced access opens. It replaces the Taiwan client 1.0.38 data we used since July. See About our data for how extraction works.

What the dataset contains (records in the EU client; the database hides entries whose name is still a "???" placeholder, so its counts can be lower):

Six site languages. Game text now comes from the client's own translations in English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian, at /, /fr, /de, /es, /pt-br and /ru. The client also ships Japanese and Korean, which the site doesn't show yet. Guides, news and this changelog stay in English.

What changed compared with the July TW data:

  • Smaller launch scope. The EU build has five Daevanion boards per class instead of eight, about a third of the recipes, and Unique item level 102 as the top equipment tier.
  • Locked content is labeled. Many dungeon entrances require level 99 in this build; the dungeon overview says which ones are open.
  • Wings no longer point to an enhance ladder in the client data; the wings guide explains what is still there.
  • Unfinished translations are hidden. Entries whose English name is still "???" (for example most Brawler skills and the level-46+ campaign quests) stay out of lists and search until a client names them.
  • EU schedules. The event timer and the launch hub use the EU client's schedule tables. Server clocks stay provisional until NCSOFT confirms them.
  • Guides re-checked. Every guide was re-verified against this client and now says so. See everything we know about the EU/NA release.
Archive: 2 articles from before the EU/NA launch

Written before the EU/NA launch, mostly on the data of the Taiwan client (July 2026). Kept for the record: numbers and systems can differ on EU/NA.

Site Update

Live timers, coupon hub, daily checklist & trust pages

Historical entry (July 2026). The timers described here ran on Taiwan server time; since September 2026 they use the EU client's schedules with provisional EU/NA server clocks.

The site goes live-aware:

  • Live countdowns on Events & Timers and the new Event Timer tool: next occurrence of every field event, rift portal opening and scheduled world boss, converted from TW server time (GMT+8) to your local timezone, with a live server clock, opt-in browser notifications and pop-out mini timers.
  • Coupon code hub — active redeem codes with one-tap copy, expiry countdowns and redemption steps.
  • Daily & weekly checklist — multi-character homework grid with reset-aware auto-clearing (daily 05:00 / weekly Wednesday 05:00 server time), charge steppers and custom tasks. Stored in your browser, no account.
  • Recently viewed & favorites — the homepage now remembers the database pages you visit and lets you star favorites (browser-local).
  • About our data — full methodology: TW client source, grade display mapping, fixed-point stats, drop-rate bases and what game data cannot know.
Data Update

Game data updated to TW client v1.0.38 (July 2026, superseded)

Historical entry (July 2026). Since September 29, 2026 the site runs on the EU/NA client 2.0.3.0 (see the entry above).

In July we re-extracted the entire database from the then-latest Taiwan client build (v1.0.38): items, skills, NPCs, quests, dungeons, enhancement tables, event schedules, seasons and Daeva Passes were refreshed. See About our data for how extraction works.
