Aion 2 tooltips for your website

Add one line to your site or guide: every link to an aion2.gg item, skill, NPC or quest then shows the in-game style card on hover, in your readers' language. Free, no account, no cookies.

    Paste it once, before </body> or in your site's footer template.

    Use normal links to aion2.gg database pages. A link to a /de/ page shows the card in German; data-lang picks the language of English links.

Card language for links without a language prefix (English links). By default each link uses its own language.
data-linksValues: icons · colors · names
Decorates the links too: icons puts the game icon before the link, colors paints it in the item's grade colour, names replaces a bare URL with the entity's name.

On any element of your page: the links inside it get no card.

Questions

Does it track my visitors?

No. The script reads and sets no cookies and stores nothing on the device. It only asks aion2.gg for the card of a link a visitor hovers, and that answer comes from our CDN cache.

Will it slow my site down?

It weighs about 5 KB compressed, loads after your page (async) and fetches nothing until someone hovers a link. Cards are cached by the browser and by our CDN.

Which links get a card?

Links to aion2.gg pages of items, skills, NPCs, quests, dungeons, zones, effects, achievements, titles, recipes, skins, wings and pets, in the 6 site languages. Every card comes from the game client's own data.

Can I use it on a forum or on Discord?

Forums and Discord do not run other sites' scripts: copy the BBCode or the plain link from the link builder instead. Discord then shows the page's preview card.

My site uses a Content Security Policy. What do I allow?

Allow the script and its data from aion2.gg, and the icons from our image host: script-src https://aion2.gg; connect-src https://aion2.gg; img-src https://*.ufs.sh. No inline style or script permission is needed.
