About our data

Every number on Aion2.gg is extracted from the game client: no manual entry, no guesswork. This page explains how, so you can judge (and cite) what you read here.

Database entries count what the database lists show, the same number as the home page and the database hub: one row per thing a player sees, without developer and test records.

Methodology

We decode the game client's data tables into a read-only database after each patch. Names and descriptions use the client's own localization for your language; where a text does not exist yet, we show a neutral internal label, never an invented translation. Icons and maps come from the same client assets, so what you see is what the game renders.

The interactive tools (calculators, planners, timers) run on the same extracted tables: enhancement costs, conversion formulas and schedules are the game's own data, not community estimates.

How to read the numbers

  • Grades use the in-game names. The client's internal grade identifiers differ from the names the game displays, and the mapping is not the same in every language. We always show the grade name the game shows in your language.
  • Percent stats are stored ×100. The client stores 31% as 3100; we divide before display.
  • Drop and roll chances are parts of 100,000,000. A stored 550000 is a 0.55% chance. Some reward-box and skill tables use parts of 10,000 instead; each table is converted with its own base.
  • Schedules are in server time. Event and reset times come from the client in server time. Our timers convert them for your region's server clock; the EU and NA clocks are provisional until NCSOFT confirms them.

What we cannot know

Client data defines the game, but some things live only on NCSOFT's servers: hotfixed drop multipliers, event boosts, server-side balance switches and unreleased content. Where server behavior could differ from client data, we say so instead of guessing. If you spot a mismatch with the live game, it is most likely one of these adjustments or a patch we have not re-extracted yet (see the changelog).
