Empyrean Trace Locations & Checklist
Empyrean Traces, the “feathers” of Aion 2, are glowing one-time finds all over the open world. Each one gives a token for its zone's Monolith, and the game counts them area by area in the Monolith's collection list. Here they all are, zone by zone, straight from the game files. Tick off the areas you have cleared: this checklist and the interactive map share one progress, saved in this browser.

How the checklist works
This page and the interactive map share one progress per zone. On the map, open a trace, tick “Mark as done”, then jump to the nearest next one with the arrows in its card (or the ← / → keys). Here, tick a whole area at once; “Next one on map” opens the first trace of that area you haven't ticked.
Your progress is saved in this browser, with no account needed. Back it up from the map's Exploration tab (export / import).
Empyrean Trace FAQ
- How many Empyrean Traces are there in Aion 2?
- The game places 1,318 on its maps: Verteron (559), Altgard (559), and Chaotic Lower Reshanta (200). The quest “Empyrean Monolith” places one more in Verteron and Altgard; the game counts it in that area's total.
- What do Empyrean Traces give?
- The token of their zone's Monolith: 3 per trace (Verteron and Altgard); 1 per trace (Chaotic Lower Reshanta). The tokens raise that Monolith, which gives permanent stat bonuses.
- Can I collect the same Empyrean Trace twice?
- No. Each trace rewards a character once: the game flags it as a one-time reward. That is why you can tick them off here and on the map.
- Do Empyrean Traces alone max out a Monolith?
- No. The Verteron Monolith takes 5,777 tokens to reach level 30, and the 560 traces of Verteron give 1,680.
