How the Chanter plays

The Chanter is Aion 2's hybrid: a staff-wielding support who amplifies the entire party while moonlighting as backup healer and melee damage dealer. The class revolves around status effects — the game data lists it as both Healer and Dealer — and in practice you weave party-wide stat buffs, spot heals and staff combos into a single rotation. It is the class for players who want to be useful in every direction at once: never the top of the damage meter, never the main healer, but the multiplier that makes everyone else's numbers bigger.

Built-in chains are always on; the others need a Specialty option or a stigma level.

Chanter FAQ

What role does the Chanter play in Aion 2?

The Chanter is a hybrid listed as both Healer and Dealer in the game data. It raises ally stats with buffs, serves as a secondary healer, and contributes melee damage with its staff.

What weapon does the Chanter use?

The Staff, a two-handed melee weapon. Unlike the caster classes, the Chanter fights up close, mixing staff strikes with support magic.

Can a Chanter replace a Cleric as party healer?

In easier content, often yes — Chanter healing covers moderate damage. In harder dungeons parties typically want a Cleric as primary healer with the Chanter supporting; the two stack extremely well together.

Is the Chanter good for solo play?

Yes. Self-buffs, self-healing and respectable melee damage make it a sturdy, self-sufficient leveler — slower than pure damage classes but much safer, and queue-friendly whenever you want a dungeon.
