New on Aion2.gg: Early Access FAQ and Endgame PvE Guide
Two new pages for launch week: how Aion 2's early access, servers, matching, markets and Founder's Pack work (with NCSOFT's sources), and an endgame PvE guide built from the game client.
Early access opens today, and the same questions come up everywhere. We answered them on two new pages.
Early Access & launch: how it works
The launch FAQ explains, in plain words:
- who can play when: early access for Founder's Pack owners, then new Launch servers, and whether you can still join an early-access server after launch;
- servers and factions: one faction per server, Elyos/Asmodian pairs that NCSOFT reshuffles from time to time;
- dungeon matching and the Abyss: dungeon queues span your region, and early-access servers are matched among themselves until launch;
- the two markets: the Server Market from day one, the Cross-Server Market later;
- membership and the Founder's Pack: what each tier contains, the per-server membership and the rules NCSOFT has published.
Every answer links to the official NCSOFT notice it comes from. Where NCSOFT has not said something in writing yet (for example how Founder's Pack items are claimed, or whether server transfers stay within one faction), the page says so instead of guessing.
Endgame PvE: the ladder and your week
The endgame PvE guide starts with the question many groups are asking: can you keep up without spending much? Short answer: yes. Dungeons are gated by level and item level, not by anything you can only buy, and progress is paced by Odyle Energy and weekly kill counts that are the same for everyone.
Below the answer you get the numbers, all read from the Global game client and compared with the Taiwan client:
- the dungeon ladder from Exploration to Conquest, Transcendence, the Sanctuary raid and the Ascension Trials, with entry item levels, party sizes, energy per cube, pity and the best gear each step can drop;
- the weekly limits and recharges under their in-game names;
- the Taiwan content that is not part of the first Global season yet;
- party roles per class, and common community claims checked against the game data.
Both pages are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian, with game terms taken from the client's own translations. They are rebuilt from every client update, so the numbers follow the game when the launch build arrives.
