July 2026 Import: TW Client 1.0.38 (Superseded by the EU Client)

Archive: in July the Aion2.gg database ran on Taiwan client 1.0.38. Since September 2026 it is built from the EU client (2.0.3.0) in six languages. Here is what the July import contained.

On this page

Superseded (September 29, 2026): the database no longer runs on the Taiwan build. It is now built from the EU/NA client, game version 2.0.3.0, with game text in English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian from the client's own localization. The numbers below describe the July TW import and are kept for the record; current counts are on the database hub. Launch dates and launch-week schedules: Aion 2 EU/NA launch.

In July 2026 the entire Aion2.gg database was re-imported from the Taiwan client, game version 1.0.38 (Unreal Engine 5.3).

What's in this import

The import pipeline reads the client's data tables, localization and assets directly. Headline numbers for this build:

DataCount
Items12,645
Skill entries16,248
NPCs & monsters13,509
Quests1,429
Dungeon records (per difficulty)737
Recipes3,020
Achievements6,656
Titles1,472
Skins2,520
Wings136
Buffs & debuffs6,658
Daevanion boards / nodes72 / 11,016
Spawn placements (map markers)189,458
Item source links396,831
Icons9,964
3D models (browser-viewable)9,743
Map images1,691
Localized strings (per language)151,014

Localization ships in the client in English, Korean and Traditional Chinese; the site displays the English (en-US) strings, which exist for the full dataset.

What this means in practice

  • Every item page shows this build's stats, enchant ladders, soulbind pools and sources.
  • The interactive map's markers were regenerated from the new spawn data.
  • Grade display names follow the in-game convention exactly (see the note in Gear Grades & Enchanting Explained about internal vs displayed grade names — our URLs use the internal keys, our labels the in-game names).
  • Drop and roll probabilities are converted from the game's raw fractions to readable percentages everywhere.

Known limitations

  • A small number of entries have no English name in the client (mostly unreleased or internal content); these display with their data intact but without a proper name, and we exclude them from listings where sensible.
  • Some 3D models in the client aren't exportable to the browser viewer yet; pages fall back to icons when a model is missing.

What's next

That is what happened: the EU/NA client became the site's primary data source in September 2026, ahead of the launch (Founder early access on September 30, free-to-play on October 5, both at 13:00 UTC). The Taiwan build stays a secondary reference for content that the western client does not have yet.

Import completed 2026-07-17 (UTC).
