Aion 2 Elyos Leveling Guide: 10–25 (Verteron)
Level 10–25 as an Elyos in Aion 2: Verteron Episode chapters, the Empyrean Monolith, Krao Cave at 20, Regional quests and your first real gear decisions.

At level 10 the game opens up: Verteron is a full-scale zone with Regional quests, Duty quests, gathering, hidden cubes and your first dungeon. The Episode chain is still your EXP spine — but from here on, side systems start mattering.
Zone flow
Everything in this bracket happens in Verteron. The Episode chain moves camp to camp; each new camp unlocks nearby Regional quests worth clearing while you're in the area rather than backtracking later.
- Levels 10–16: first Verteron chapter, ending at the Empyrean Monolith.
- Levels 17–22: second chapter.
- Levels 22–25: start of the next chapter (it runs deep into the 25–40 bracket — see the next guide).
Episode: first Verteron chapter (Lv 10–16)
On the map: Episode quest givers, Kibelisks and Sealed Dungeons in Verteron. The pin next to a quest giver opens the map on that NPC.

The Empyrean Monolith step at 16 is a checkpoint quest — do it immediately, it gates later systems.

Dungeon unlock: Krao Cave (Lv 20)
Your first party dungeon, Krao Cave, opens in Exploration at level 20 (entrance requires item level 200 — quest gear gets you there). It's a 1–5 player run, so you can solo it or queue. Run it when the Episode chain quest for it appears; the gear inside is your first meaningful upgrade source.
Side content worth doing
- Regional quests — short local chains at each camp; do them alongside the Episode chain, not as a separate pass.
- Duty quests — repeatable filler when you're short of a level for the next Episode step.
- Gathering & crafting — pick up nodes on route (see our crafting guide); don't detour for them yet.
- Hidden cubes on the Verteron map give permanent account value and are densest in this zone.
Gear checkpoints
Around level 20 you'll assemble your first coherent set from Krao Cave drops and quest rewards. Rules of thumb:
- Wear the highest item level piece regardless of grade; grade matters once pieces are otherwise equal (how grades work).
- Enhance your weapon a few safe levels — early enhancing is cheap and cannot fail. Skip armor for now.
- Browse equipment to see what exists for each slot.
