Aion 2 Asmodian Leveling Guide: 1–10 (Ishalgen)

Ishalgen is a short, dense prologue: one sitting takes you from character creation to your Ascension as a Daeva and out the other side. Everything worth doing funnels through the Episode quest chain, so this bracket is simple — follow the golden trail and don't overthink it.

Zone flow

You start in Ishalgen and never leave it in this bracket. Quests cluster around Aldelle Village, and the chain walks you across the whole zone in order — there is no reason to detour for grinding. Open the interactive Ishalgen map in a second tab if you want gather nodes and named monsters plotted along the route.

• Levels 1–4: opening chain around Aldelle Village.
• Around level 5: the Ascension questline teleports you to the Ascension Subspace — you become a Daeva and unlock your wings.
• Levels 6–10: the back half of the zone chain, ending with your transfer to Altgard.

Ascension and first flight

The Spread Your Wings step is the bracket's landmark: your character ascends, gains wings, and gliding becomes your main traversal tool. Glide downhill whenever the route allows — it is faster than running and costs nothing.

Gear checkpoints

Don't spend anything on gear before level 10. Quest rewards fully cover this bracket, and everything you wear now is replaced within hours. If you want to see what drops where later, browse equipment in the database — but save your kinah.

Before you leave the zone

• Finish the Episode chain to its final step — it hands you the transfer to Altgard.
• Pick up any Exploration objectives you passed; the starter zone's are quick.
• Check the Ishalgen map for hidden cubes and gather nodes you missed — starter-zone collectibles are painless now and annoying to come back for.
