Aion 2 Elyos Leveling Guide: 40–45 (Verteron finale)
Level 40–45 as an Elyos in Aion 2: the closing Verteron Episode chapter and the level-45 unlock wave — Draupnir, growth dungeons, Conquest and Transcendence.

Five levels, one chapter, and then the floodgates: level 45 is the single biggest unlock point in the game. The final Verteron chapter is built to carry you there — finish it and the endgame loop switches on all at once.
Zone flow
The last Verteron chapter (Lv 40–45) plays out in the zone's endgame regions and closes the Verteron storyline. Keep daily dungeon charges running throughout — the chapter alone won't quite cover five levels without them.

The level 45 unlock wave
At 45 the entrance list explodes — this is where Aion 2's endgame actually starts:
- Draupnir — the signature party dungeon; Exploration and Conquest both open at 45 with an item level 700 entry bar. Its Transcendence difficulty is not open on EU/NA yet.
- Growth dungeons — Fafnite Amphitheater and Silent Graveyard open at 45.
- Conquest versions of earlier dungeons — Krao Cave (item level 700) and Urugugu Canyon (item level 1400) reopen at 45 in Conquest. Their Transcendence difficulty is not open on EU/NA yet.
- Transcendence dungeons — Shattered Arkanis and Deus Research Base open in Transcendence at 45. Their first Stage needs item level 1,600 and the next ones 1,900, 2,200 and 2,500; an S rank on a Stage opens the next. They are where Arcana cards drop (Arcana guide). Their Exploration and Conquest versions are not open on EU/NA yet.
- New party dungeons — Vakron Sky Island (item level 1400) and Ferocious Horn Den (2100) open in Exploration and Conquest at 45.
- Matchmade dungeons, Awakening trials and the first raid — Subjugation Closed, Beritra Brigade Fortress, Orcus's Grave and Fafnite Forge (1–4 players, item level 1000 and up), the first four difficulties of the solo Awakening trials, and the 10-player raid Abyssal Forge: Ludra (item level 2800). The dungeon overview has every requirement.
That is why the gear section below matters more than in any earlier bracket.
Gear checkpoints — the item level push
From 45 onward, item level is the key that opens doors: 700 for Draupnir and Krao Cave Conquest, 1400 for Urugugu Canyon Conquest, 2100 for Fire Temple Conquest.
- Replace every leveling leftover with 45-band drops from growth dungeons and dailies.
- Enhance broadly — item level counts your whole loadout, so +4 on eight pieces beats +12 on one (enhancing guide).
- Do your accessory slots — they're the ones players forget and the cheapest item level you'll buy.
- Browse Unique-grade equipment, the top equipment grade in the EU client, to see what you're working toward.
