The Ranger is the long-range physical damage dealer: a bow class that wants maximum distance and a clear firing line. The playstyle rewards battlefield awareness — you fight from the edge of the encounter, kiting with movement skills, layering traps and slows, and punishing anything that closes the gap. Against bosses you sustain steady single-target pressure while staying clear of melee mechanics; in the open world the ability to start every fight at range makes leveling smooth. It demands more positioning discipline than the melee classes but repays it with one of the safest damage profiles in the game.

What role does the Ranger play in Aion 2?
The Ranger is a pure Dealer (damage) class. It attacks from long range with a bow, using distance and mobility as its main defense.
What weapon does the Ranger use?
The Bow. Rangers are the only Aion 2 class that fights with bows, giving them the longest effective range among the physical classes.
Is the Ranger hard to play?
Moderately. Damage output depends on keeping range and a clear line of sight, so you manage positioning constantly. It is easier than Assassin's stealth windows, but less forgiving than a Gladiator who can simply stand and swing.
How does Ranger compare with Sorcerer for ranged damage?
Both deal damage from range. The Sorcerer is a burst magic caster with crowd control but low defenses; the Ranger deals steadier physical damage with more personal mobility. Pick Sorcerer for big numbers and control, Ranger for mobility and consistency.
